Welcome to IDEA Equitable Services: What You Need to Know, a series of training modules designed to enhance your understanding and knowledge of providing equitable services to parentally-placed private school children with disabilities while meeting the regulatory requirements under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. In the first module, we will define key terms and concepts associated with IDEA equitable services. Then, in later modules, we will focus on the regulatory requirements for local education agencies related to equitable services and proportionate share. And, the final two modules will address frequently asked questions and provide resource to further support your implementation of IDEA equitable services after completing our training.
